ReplyDeleteI'm glad you included the adverbs which go with the adjective 'bright'. They work like a team, don't they? It would seem wrong to split them up.
ReplyDeleteRemember how we talked about how adverbs answer questions? Your brain could have a conversation with itself about these words and it might go something like this: Well, what are Mr Wonka's eyes like?
They are bright.
Okay, how bright are they?
Well, they are marvellously bright!
Oh! And HOW marvellously bright are they?
They are MOST marvellously bright.
And that’s how adverbs work.
